House of Frank Sinatra

Over the years, with the bombardment of hip-pop music, and rap, many young people have never encountered the rich, caressing voice of Frank Sinatra. Growing up in the 90's, surrounded by color TV, alternative rock such as Green Day, Offspring, Smash Mouth, I had not had the chance to hear the swinging songs of his until today. Listen to this.

Why come across his songs? Because you can have the chance to visit his former house in Palm Springs, California. I personally wouldn't book this place to stay for the night, because I don't have the bucks for it. It costs $2600 a night to rent it. If you can afford it, I guess its worth it. In one of the bathroom basins, you can still see the crack from the champagne bottle that Sinatra hurled at his wife, Gardner. If you are not heading to Palm Springs anytime soon, you can also check out the movie The Damned Don't Cry. Sinatra allowed his house to be used for that film.

Twin Palms amenities include:
  • Four bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms, additional powder room is available in the great room
  • Pool house with kitchenette, cabana-style bathrooms (including showers)
  • Sinatra’s original sound and recording system still in place (although not connected for use)
  • Massive sliding glass doors integrates the indoors to the outdoors opening from the great room to the expansive patio and piano-shaped swimming pool
  • Exquisitely furnished residence with period pieces and extensive Sinatra memorabilia throughout the estate
