Reason's to not use Fanny Pack

Okay, I am sure most of the young travelers do not carry the old-school fanny packs during their travels, but there are still many older folks who do. So if you DO carry a fanny pack or one of your family members does, here are several reasons not to carry one.

Reason #1 Easy target for pickpockets

Carrying a fanny pack in front of you is equivalent to you screaming out loud to all the local thieves around you that you are a wealthy tourist and "come rob me!" They know you keep all your valuables inside that precious bag of yours, so they will follow you wherever you go. When you are finally in a crowded area, the thief will swiftly slip their crafty hands into your precious fanny pack.

Reason #2 Not Fashionable

I don't need to explain myself here. I don't care if its leather material, or army camouflage colored, it is just too old fashion stuff! If you want to safely keep your precious stuff, get a money belt and wear around it under your shirt (this way you won't violate Reason #1).

Tips:

• Go get yourself a fashionable shoulder bag.
• Keep the important contents in your pockets or deep in the bag so its difficult to be reached
• Do not carry your camera around your neck...PLEASE!
• Be respectful, but alert to all strangers. Don't get fooled by their hot looks!
